Meet Brittany, the proud owner of Bella Bridal and the visionary behind Adorne gowns.
Brittany embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 24, taking on the challenge of running a business as a single mother. In January 2016, she acquired Bella Bridal, a 1000ft bridal store with a modest inventory of 30 bridal gowns and 50 bridesmaid dresses. Undeterred, Brittany's determination and vision propelled her forward, and as her clientele grew, she identified a need for more trendy styles in the market.

Over the years, Brittany has expanded her store to over 5000ft, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. She has moved beyond boundaries, bringing in hundreds of dresses and establishing Bella Bridal as a go-to destination for a diverse range of clients.

Gwynn, Brittany's right hand girl is responsible for helping her with the stores private line designs, Adorne and handles all of the brands social media channels. With her help, Bella Bridal has reached almost 70K followers on Instagram and over half a million likes on TikTok with multiple viral videos on both platforms!

Today, as the owner of Bella Bridal & Adorne gowns, Brittany continues to break barriers by offering a collection that caters to everyone, ensuring that each individual can look and feel beautiful in their own body.

born
Brittany's journey is deeply personal; growing up plus-size, she experienced limited options for evening wear. Her passion for design, nurtured since childhood, led her to design her own grade 8 graduation dress.

In 2017, Brittany decided to bridge the gap by designing her own evening gowns to offer her clients the latest and most inclusive designs. This initiative evolved into Adorne, her very own brand, now available online.

Gwynn
Meet Gwynn, our cherished Assistant Manager at Bella Bridal. With a focus on bridal appointments, social media, and contributing to product development, she exudes passion for making women feel beautiful by helping them discover their perfect dress.

Gwynn first approached me with her resume at the age of 16. Despite my initial reservations about her age and experience, she returned the following year, this time as a co-op student. Following a successful placement, she was promptly hired as a part-time sales associate.
​
Throughout her journey, Gwynn pursued studies in Fashion Techniques and Design at George Brown College in Toronto. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, she seamlessly balanced her education and continued contributing to Bella Bridal, thanks to the flexibility of online classes.
​
During her final semester, Gwynn relocated to Toronto to complete her studies, and now, she has returned to Bella Bridal full time as our Assistant Manager. We're delighted to have her back, bringing her knowledge, creativity, and warm spirit to our bridal haven.
Abbi
Abbi's journey with Bella Bridal began in 2016 when she first graced our runway as a model for the wedding show. Having been dressed by Brittany for multiple shows over the years, Abbi's friendly and bubbly personality always shone through.

One day, Abbi, accompanied by one of her best friends, walked in to try on wedding dresses. Impressed by Abbi's charm and demeanor, Brittany saw a perfect fit for our team. An invitation for an interview followed, and it quickly became apparent that Abbi excels in customer service.
​
Now a valued member of Bella Bridal, Abbi's story is a testament to the genuine connections formed within our formal wear clients. Her journey from the runway to helping women find their dream dresses embodies the warmth and camaraderie that define the Bella Bridal experience.

Abbi is studying social work at the University of Windsor, and she relates to her clients from all her experience in modeling, giving her a strong sense of style and fit.
Mareeta
Meet Mareeta, our dedicated formal wear specialist at Bella Bridal. Mareeta stands out for her warmth and inviting personality, coupled with exceptional listening skills and extensive knowledge of our inventory.

Bringing valuable experience from her time at Freeds, Mareeta is currently pursuing a major in Math and Statistics at the University of Windsor. Her passion extends beyond bridal fashion, as she aspires to build a career in Actuarial Science.
